Located throughout the New Jersey Counties of Passaic, Morris and Sussex, we provide professionally based social services, including Behavioral Health Programs, Veterans Services, Children's Programs, Senior and Aging Services and much more.
Food Pantry Assistant Hours:
Monday - Friday 10:
00am - 3:
00pm (Weekends as needed) Location:
Paterson, NJ JOB
Summary:
Individual provides client service and oversight of Food Pantry activities assigned.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Register Food Pantry clients in accordance with policy and procedure.
May be assigned to work in any of the pantry locations for the organization; as needed.
Complete food weekly food donations pickup as scheduled for any of the food pantry locations as needed.
Complete daily and monthly record keeping requirements and prepare and submit monthly statistics report to the Program director.
Oversee the daily operation of the Food Pantry, including the client shopping experience, incoming donations, and management of the storage area.
Work collaborative with all staff.
Identify and participate in initiatives to improve the quality of pantry operations and service delivery clients.
Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time to support the effective and efficient operation of Catholic Charities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Organizational and Computer skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Position requires that individual be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must have a valid driver's license, and in good standing.
