4K a year 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago We are seeking a customer service representative/cashier who reports directly to the Coordinator of Student Accounts and is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all users of the Bursar's Office as well as entering payments through the Colleague cashiering system.
This is a part-time position.
SCHEDULE:
Weekdays.
Must be available to work Mondays and Thursdays from 11:
00 am until 7:
00 pm if required.
Example of Duties:
Provide excellent customer service Record and reconcile all payments through the Colleague cashiering system Analyze financial information pertaining to billing, which can include scholarship, state, and federal awards.
Assist students with self-service and payment plans on the web Enter data into the Colleague system as needed to keep student records up-to-date Assist in paper and email billing Make outgoing calls to students regarding due dates and other important information Answer any questions relating to payments, refunds, and PCCC student processes Assist with any other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must have obtained a High School Diploma or equivalent Knowledge of cashiering, and reconciling cash drawer High mathematical aptitude Excellent customer, analytical, interpersonal skills Must be a self-starter with the ability to organize and coordinate large workloads in timely and effective manner Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations preferred Knowledge of college enrollment management services preferred Knowledge of Ellucian Colleague preferred Bilingual preferred The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
