Forklift mechanic
Forklift company in Paterson, NJ s seeking experienced mechanic.
Mechanic must possess general mechanical know how in order to oversee preventive maintenance and repair.
Requirements:
-Must speak English-Minium of 2 years experience-Forklift repair experience a MUST-Valid Drivers License-Ability to lift heavy mechanical components and work outside in all types of weather.
-Knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, propane, gas and diesel forklifts.
Duties:
-You will give repair quotes as guided by our service department, Create a list of parts required for repair and coordinate those list with the main office to ensure that all the necessary parts are ordered in a timely manner.
- You will then perform those repairs specifically requested by the customer and given to you by the service manager.
Ensure that the customer understand the situation and are satified with the conditions of their forklift and repair.
-Submit complete documentation for all work and filling out accurate work orders.
-Maintaining regualr communication with the service manager- Maintaining company tools in working order and returning then to the shop after use.
-Adhering to all company policies and work rules.
